Over the past 20 years Martin has worked within the arena of photography, using this as a basecamp to explore the evolving mechanisms of the medium through an ever-increasing number of technologies and processes. A common thread in all ‘situation-gathering’ devices is the fundamental need to acquire information at the source, which can then be processed, repurposed and represented. Past commissions have included album concept artwork, sculpture, print and live performance.
